What National Guard Coin was your first?

So, back in 1995, I joined the National Guard and was afforded my first unit coin.  Since it was a unit that had recently stood up, it was numbered under 100. The following year we became a toe unit instead of tda, and got our true unit designation along with, what else, but a new coin to go with it. These coins had been made in Korea and were what I like to refer to as pre-color or old fashioned. However, they are definitely two of the coins in my collection that will never be sold, and are priceless as far as I am concerned. They are worn, and look like they were carried in my pocket for years, because they were. Today my collection has grown to about thirty I have been awarded, and over 100 that I keep on my desk from various trades or purchases. I know many other soldiers that have a similar “set” of collections, one from award, and one from purchase.

So what coin was your first?
