Well here we are finally. It’s time to get down and talk about what’s going on in the NG coin community. no one else is going to do it for you so we are stepping up to issue you that valuable information. Are you a collector? if so this site is going to be a very valuable tool for you to know what is new, where to find great coins, and maybe even some shooting the wind about the National Guard. Who knows…it’s a blog which means we can talk about anything, right? You bet and we plan on it.

I think one of the things holding back some collectors is a lack of knowledge and vocabulary concerning military terms, a lot of which turn up on the coins. Lets use a GAC as an example, a Ground Assault Convoy is a sight to behold, and done correctly help secure an AO, or Area of Operations. You get the idea, how do people collect something they cannot decipher. Maybe we can put together a list of common acronyms and vocabulary as we find it on coins??
